Management accounts and business advisory
Regular numbers, honest conversations and decisions made on evidence.
Statutory accounts tell you what happened. Management accounts tell you what is happening while you can still do something about it.
We produce monthly or quarterly figures with commentary, then sit down with you to talk about pricing, margins, recruitment, borrowing and what the next twelve months look like.
What you receive
A short profit and loss with prior period and budget comparison, a balance sheet, a cash summary, aged debtors and creditors, and a page of commentary in plain English explaining what moved and why.
We keep the pack short deliberately. Ten pages nobody reads is worse than two pages that change a decision.
- Monthly or quarterly reporting cycle to suit the business
- Rolling twelve month cash flow forecast
- Budget setting and variance review
- Break-even and pricing analysis
- Quarterly advisory meeting with actions written down
Our process
How this works with us
- Step 01
Baseline
We agree what matters: the three or four numbers that drive your business.
- Step 02
Reporting
Accounts produced to a fixed timetable each month or quarter.
- Step 03
Review meeting
We talk through the figures and agree specific actions.
- Step 04
Follow through
Actions are revisited next time. Nothing quietly disappears.
